The Founder’s Story
A Vision Sparked by Purpose
Rubert Spence has always been drawn to the world of systems and structures—the way things work, the problems behind the problems, and the satisfaction that comes with fixing something right. With a sharp analytical mind and a natural love for mathematics and mechanical systems, Rubert’s journey into engineering wasn’t a job—it was a calling.
Before launching One Time Engineering, Rubert worked under various contractors, quietly running major operations behind the scenes. His technical skills were undeniable. Clients trusted him. Projects ran smoothly under his supervision. But one question kept surfacing in his mind:
“If I’m doing it all, why am I not doing it for myself?”
With that, he enrolled in small business courses, sharpened his entrepreneurial instincts, and stepped out on faith. With limited tools, few resources, but immense heart, One Time Engineering was born.
What began as one man and his toolbox is now a trusted name in the region—a company known for never needing a do-over, because the job is done right the first time.
